A word about worship styles
Traditional or contemporary? Formal or casual? Non-denominational or any of a variety of denominations? Liturgical or ...I don't know... what's the opposite of liturgical?
Regardless, Art to Heart seeks to reclaim the world's great art as a vehicle of blessing for all of God's children.
It may surprise you to learn that Art to Heart worship resources can work well in both traditional and contemporary styles, both formal and casual atmospheres, and in nearly any denomination. But there is a level at which it is impossible to provide a worship service element that can be used as easily in one service as another.
For that reason, Art to Heart worship resources stop short of providing all the details of some of the worship elements, so that worship leaders can tailor the specifics to conform to the traditions of their congregations, or to the specific needs of the moment. In general, we provide the work of art and a text that allows the congregation to experience the visual message of the art as it relates to the worship element in question. Often, we'll suggest litanies or hymns or prayer texts, but as worship leader, you should feel free to modify, supplement, or replace them as necessary to create a worship experience that resonates with your congregation.
